IMMEDIATE!!! Material Controller (Jurong Island and Bugis) / Perm

Material Control & Logistics (Approx. 70%)

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers on material control activities during the planning and execution of planned or unplanned maintenance, warranty work, and outages at power plant facilities.
• Liaise with counterparts to expedite the delivery of materials to site and ensure timely readiness for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to obtain and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and shipping marks.
• Work closely with freight forwarders and logistics partners to facilitate customs clearance for materials arriving at Singapore ports and arrange inland transportation to designated facilities.
• Notify and coordinate with customers’ supply chain teams and oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and handling of materials at customer warehouses to ensure materials are maintained in good condition.
• Establish and maintain systems, processes, and tracking tools to manage the inventory of serialized Hot Gas Path (HGP) parts, spare parts, consumables, special tools, and miscellaneous hardware.
• Coordinate with customers on warehouse space allocation and staging areas required for maintenance activities.
• Supervise contractor personnel engaged to support material control and warehouse coordination activities, where applicable.
• Maintain accurate inbound and outbound records of serialized Hot Gas Path Parts and prepare roll-in / roll-out reports.
• Conduct stock-taking of consumables and miscellaneous hardware and generate accurate inventory and consumption reports.
• Ensure required materials are withdrawn from warehouse inventory and staged appropriately before and during outage periods.
• Prepare parts for temporary export and coordinate documentation such as export control forms, temporary export declarations, and shipping documentation for sending Hot Gas Path Parts to overseas repair facilities for inspection and refurbishment.

Outage Site Administration (Approx. 25%)

• Support the setup and preparation of temporary site offices for outage teams at power plant sites.
• Coordinate on-site administrative arrangements for outage personnel, including site induction, transportation, meals, IT equipment, and other operational support required during outage activities.

Customer Service & Stakeholder Support (Approx. 5%)

• Maintain awareness of customer operational requirements and support the service team in delivering a high level of customer service.
• Foster positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Department to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in material control, logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or maintenance support, preferably in industrial, power generation, or engineering environments.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and inventory management systems is advantageous.
