We have an Immediate Opening Tester with our reputed Client.

Client Location Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Experience: 3+ years

Role focus

• Prepares and executes assigned test cases, records evidence, and reports defects.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, procedures, and assigned test scenarios.

• Prepare test data and execute approved manual or automated test cases.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, OAT, connectivity, resilience, and DR checks as assigned.

• Record actual results, screenshots, logs, timestamps, and other execution evidence.

• Raise defects with clear steps, expected and actual results, severity, and supporting evidence.

• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.

• Update test cases, execution logs, evidence registers, defect records, and daily status.

• Escalate blockers, environment issues, data problems, and unexpected results promptly.

• Follow security, data-handling, change, and audit requirements.

• Support rehearsals, cutovers, hypercare, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Decision authority

• Executes approved activities and escalates issues; does not normally approve overall test completion or migration readiness.

Experience

• Typically 3–5 years of hands-on testing experience.

Experience and skills

• Working knowledge of test lifecycle, test-case design, execution, evidence capture, defect reporting, retesting, and regression testing.

• Ability to follow detailed test scripts and migration runbooks accurately.

• Basic understanding of applications, interfaces, operating systems, databases, networks, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with test-management and defect-tracking tools.

• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, teamwork, and communication.

• Willingness to support planned cutovers and out- of-hours test windows.

Preferred certifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent.

• ITIL Foundation is advantageous.

• Entry-level Agile, cloud, automation, or relevant platform certification is advantageous.

Primary deliverables

· Test cases, execution logs, screenshots and logs, defect records, retest results, regression results, and evidence-register updates.
