Immigration Caseworker Assistant

About the Role

We’re a Canadian immigration firm, and we’re looking to add a few people to our team who are new to this field. You don’t need any immigration experience to apply. Many good caseworkers started in a completely different field, and we’re happy to train the right person from the ground up.

In this role, you’ll learn how Canadian temporary and permanent residence applications actually work. We’ll start with the basics and take you through each type of application so you understand not just what to do but why it’s done that way. You’ll be working on real client files from early on, with someone experienced guiding you along the way.

This role suits someone who wants to build a long-term career in immigration and is willing to put in the effort to learn it properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Booking immigration medical exams with IRCC-approved panel physicians
• Scheduling biometrics appointments for clients
• Handling passport requests and helping clients through the submission process
• Filling out IRCC IMM forms for different types of applications
• Preparing and submitting applications on Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) portals and the IRCC PR portal
• Collecting and reviewing client documents to make sure files are complete
• Keeping client records organized and keeping track of deadlines
• Staying in touch with clients by email and phone
• Helping with letters and other correspondence under the guidance of the senior team
• General office and case support as needed

What We’re Looking For

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field
• Good English, both written and spoken, since most of the work involves forms, documents, and client communication
• Careful attention to detail, because small mistakes on immigration forms matter
• Comfort working with computers, email, and online portals
• Someone who takes their work seriously and wants to keep learning
