What they need
Legacy Immigration is looking for a highly capable, professional and commercially minded Immigration Advisor & Caseworker to join our growing team.
This is a multi-functional role for someone who can take ownership of the client journey from initial enquiry through to case completion. You will be expected to combine strong immigration casework skills with client management, business development, lead conversion and day-to-day operational responsibility.
We are not looking for someone who simply processes paperwork. We are looking for an individual who can understand client needs, build trust, convert enquiries into clients, manage cases professionally and help drive the growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be organised, confident, commercially aware and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration & Casework
Manage immigration cases from initial assessment through to submission and follow-up.
Review client circumstances, documentation and application requirements carefully.
Prepare, review and organise application forms, supporting documents and representations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and ensure deadlines are met.
Keep clients informed throughout the case and provide a professional service at every stage.
Monitor relevant application progress, correspondence and updates.
Client Management & Consultations
Conduct initial client discussions and immigration assessments.
Understand client objectives and identify appropriate immigration routes based on their circumstances.
Explain processes and requirements clearly and professionally.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and maintain a high standard of communication.
Handle enquiries by telephone, email, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
Business Development & Lead Conversion
Respond promptly to incoming leads and enquiries.
Conduct consultations and convert suitable enquiries into paying clients.
Follow up with prospective clients and maintain an effective sales pipeline.
Identify opportunities for additional services and referrals where appropriate.
Contribute ideas to improve lead generation, client acquisition and overall business growth.
Represent Legacy Immigration professionally across digital and offline channels where required.
General Business & Operations
Work closely with management and other team members to ensure smooth case progression.
Assist with CRM management, reporting, scheduling and internal processes.
Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and relevant CRM/business systems confidently.
Support the development and improvement of internal procedures and client workflows.
Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities rather than waiting for instructions.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who demonstrates professional maturity, initiative and ownership.
Essential:
Previous experience in UK immigration, immigration casework, legal services, client advisory or a closely related field.
Strong understanding of UK immigration processes and the ability to work with immigration applications confidently.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-handling skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM/business systems.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet strict deadlines.
Professional, reliable and commercially aware approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take responsibility.
Highly Desirable:
Experience working within an immigration consultancy, law firm or regulated immigration environment.
Experience conducting client consultations and converting leads into clients.
Experience with UK family, work, settlement and citizenship applications.
Experience using CRM systems such as Zoho, Clio or similar.
Business development, sales or customer relationship management experience.
IAA-related experience or understanding of regulated immigration advice and casework.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal person for this role will be someone who can confidently say:
“Give me the enquiry, and I can take it from there.”
You should be capable of assessing an enquiry, communicating with the client, identifying the next steps, managing the case, keeping records updated, following up with the client and ensuring the matter progresses professionally.
You must be comfortable taking ownership, making sensible decisions within your role and contributing beyond a narrowly defined job description.
Why Join Legacy Immigration?
We are an IAA Approved Immigration firm.
You will have the opportunity to become a key member of a growing immigration business, with significant responsibility and scope to develop your role.
We value people who take initiative, work professionally and genuinely want to contribute to the growth of the business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the company develops.
Please apply only if you have relevant experience, strong communication skills and are confident managing both clients and casework.
Pay: £18,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
