About the role

We are looking for an IMOS Administrator / Nesting Operator to join our production team.

Working closely with the Production Manager, you will play an important role in making sure our jobs are accurately programmed and ready for manufacture on the factory floor.

You will use a number of production and design systems, including Hansa, IMOS and Magicut, to turn customer orders into accurate production information for our manufacturing teams.

You don't need previous IMOS or CAD experience to apply. Full training will be provided, although experience of CAD, CNC, cabinet making, joinery or manufacturing would be an advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, technically minded and keen to develop specialist skills within a modern manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

• Using Hansa (ERP) to generate accurate production lists.
• Using IMOS to optimise production and create bespoke cabinets where required.
• Using Magicut to generate accurate cut lists for our machinery.
• Working closely with Order Processing and Design to obtain all information required to programme jobs correctly.
• Ensuring jobs are accurately programmed and ready for production within agreed timescales.
• Administering the IMOS system, including adding new products and making specification changes.
• Identifying and helping to resolve system or programming issues.
• Checking information carefully to ensure production requirements are clear and accurate.
• Working closely with the Production Manager and factory teams to help maintain a smooth and efficient production flow.

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Methodical and accurate in their approach to work.
• Comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software.
• A good communicator who can work effectively with colleagues across the business.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work to production deadlines.
• Confident asking questions and investigating problems when information isn't clear.
• Interested in developing a career in technical manufacturing.

Experience with IMOS, AutoCAD or similar CAD software would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Experience or knowledge of cabinet making, joinery, CNC, nesting or furniture manufacturing would also be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right person.

What we offer

• £28,000–£33,000 salary, depending on experience
• Full in-house training on our systems and processes.
