About the role

Responsible for end-to-end coordination of import activities by managing import planning, purchase order processing, shipment tracking, and documentation handling using import systems, ERP/SAP, shipping platforms, and regulatory documentation tools, to ensure timely availability of raw materials for production, cost efficiency, and full compliance with government regulations such as SRA, BOC, and other relevant agencies while supporting smooth coordination with Finance, QC, and Warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly production plans and share with relevant departments
• Track shipment status, manage documentation for audit purposes, and ensure timely delivery while avoiding demurrage/storage charges
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, Finance, QC, and Warehouse for payment processing, delivery scheduling, and shipment monitoring
• Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules, shipment updates, and resolve any delivery issues
• Receive, verify, and process shipping documents (CI, PL, BL, Form D) and ensure compliance with HS codes and customs regulations
• Review stock reports and ensure SAP records match actual quantities for Raw Materials
• Generate purchase requisitions and forecast packaging material needs based on production plans
• Monitor, reconcile, and report any discrepancies between billing statements and shipment records
• Monitor material availability to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations
• Review and process freight billing, maintaining compliance with SRA, BOC, and other regulations
