Company Overview

Adriste Philippines Inc. (API) is wholly-owned subsidiary of Adriste ( Hong Kong ) Ltd. The company was incorporated and registered with Securities & Exchange Commission on October 1979 and started its operations in February 1980. In October 1980, the Export Processing Zone Authority (now PEZA) approved the registration of API as a Zone Export Enterprise under Certificate of Registration No. 80-10.

API manufactures for export to very selected and first-class buyers in New York, Canada, Japan, China, and European countries such as France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands and others. Our main products are high-fashioned leather gloves and knitted products and are well-known for high quality of workmanship and materials. All raw materials are imported.

API uses the brand name Portolano which is well-known in many countries. However, majority of our clients attach their own exclusive brand names or labels such as Coach, J. Crew, Bergdorf Goodman, Ralph Lauren, Henri Bendel, DVF etc.

Job Description:

1. Overall in-charge of the Impex Section;

2. Coordinates with Department Heads and other parties involved (if needed) regarding shipments for the preparation of necessary shipping documents;

3. Coordinates with government offices and relative brokers regarding imports and exports for the preparation of proper documents as well as logistics arrangement (delivery and pick-up);

4. Ensures completeness and accuracy of shipments and supporting documents, both import and export;

5. Prepares marine declaration for the insurance coverage of all shipments, both import and export;

6. Prepares and submits shipment records and other reports needed either by the government, the accounting section, or the GM’s office;

7. Prepares TIMTA reports for submission to PEZA;

8. In charge in the timely submission of final and correct shipping-related documents (Commercial invoice, Sample invoice, Philippine Invoice, waybills, etc.) to AHL , consignees , accounting section, and other report users, if any;

9. Performs other duties assigned by the General Manager or any member of the management from time to time;
