NetSoft is a US-based SaaS company that builds IntelliPath Pro (IPPro), a Laboratory Information System (LIS) used by anatomic and dermatopathology labs across the United States. Our software manages the full lab workflow -- from specimen accessioning through diagnosis, reporting, and distribution back to referring physicians.

We are 25 years old, Atlanta-based, and in an active growth phase -- expanding our customer base, launching new product modules, and investing in the commercial infrastructure to scale. This is a high-visibility role at the center of that build-out.

About the role

NetSoft, Inc. is hiring an Implementation & Integration Developer to be the technical engine behind our customer installs. You will handle the hands-on work of each implementation — SSRS reporting, data conversion, interface build-out, and technical troubleshooting — while our Implementation Manager leads the customer relationship.

We are moving to a model of one lead installer with one remote technical backup on every install. You will be that backup: tracking every implementation day to day so the team can take on more projects at once.

About 30% of your time will go to interface development alongside our interface lead. A strong developer foundation and the drive to learn are required.Prior interface experience is not required but preferred.

Key responsibilities

Implementation support (~70%)

• Serve as the remote technical backup on every customer install, working alongside the Implementation Manager.

• Track each implementation day to day: tasks, issues, configuration status and next steps.

• Build and modify SSRS reports to meet customer requirements.

• Plan and execute data conversions from customers’ current LIS systems, including mapping, scripting, validation and cleanup.

• Provide technical support to the implementation team, diagnosing and resolving configuration, data and environment issues.

• Write JavaScript and SQL to configure, extend and troubleshoot the product during installs.

• Keep project management tasks and timelines current.

Interface support (~30%)

• Support the interface lead in developing, testing and deploying system interfaces.

• Learn our interface engine and messaging standards (e.g., HL7) on the job.

• Help troubleshoot interface issues during and after go-live.

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years working experience with SQL: writing queries, joins and data manipulation.

• 2–4 years of professional JavaScript development experience.

• Clear, professional spoken and written English; comfortable explaining technical issues to teammates and customers.

• Proven ability to work through complex technical scenarios and design practical solutions.

• Strong organizational habits; able to track several projects and deadlines at once.

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Asana or similar).

• Willingness and ability to learn interface development.

Nice to have

• SSRS (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting) or similar report-writing experience (Crystal Reports, Power BI, etc.).

• Experience with Rhino JavaScript.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), EMR/EHR systems or health IT in general.

• Experience with Mirth Connect or another healthcare integration engine.

• Experience setting up and configuring websites in IIS.
