Implementation and Operations Engineer

Looking for an Implementation and Operations Engineer to help deploy, operate, and maintain our innovative “One Item, One Code” digital marketing platform. About the Role

You will lead technical implementation activities from system setup to go-live and provide ongoing operational support to ensure platform stability, data accuracy, and reliable client service. This role involves database administration, enterprise system integration, anti-counterfeiting monitoring, and on-site technical support at client facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• System Implementation: Deploy and configure the platform, establish code databases and coding rules, and support client go-live activities.
• Code & Inventory Management: Manage code issuance, activation, linking, inventory monitoring, and product packaging integration.
• System Integration: Configure platform settings and coordinate integration and testing with client ERP, MES, WMS, and other enterprise systems.
• Anti-Counterfeiting Monitoring: Investigate abnormal product scans, identify potential counterfeiting or channel diversion, and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Database Administration: Perform database backup and recovery, performance monitoring, SQL optimization, and data migration.
• Technical Support & Training: Troubleshoot client issues, provide remote and on-site assistance, and prepare user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Data & Reporting: Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to maintain accurate scan data and support client performance reviews.
• Process Improvement: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and improve implementation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in system implementation, IT operations, database administration, or technical support.
• Experience with SaaS platforms, product traceability, anti-counterfeiting solutions, or FMCG is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in at least one database platform: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of database maintenance, backup and recovery, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of ERP, MES, and WMS systems and their integration requirements.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation and data analysis.
• Experience working in Southeast Asian markets or on overseas assignments.
• Tagalog/Filipino communication skills.
• Certifications such as RHCE or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
