Implementation Consultant

About the role

VisiLean is looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our growing Implementation team and support the successful delivery of our construction technology platform across client projects in Finland and elsewhere in Europe.

This is a client-facing consulting role for someone who combines a strong construction or project management background with excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements, ways of working and processes. You will be responsible for VisiLean implementations, deliver workshops and training, and help project teams successfully adopt VisiLean as part of their day-to-day operations.

You will work independently with clients and projects while collaborating closely with other VisiLean consultants and our Product and Support teams.

What you will be doing

• Take responsibility for the implementation of VisiLean across new and existing client projects.
• Understand client requirements, workflows and project objectives.
• Configure the VisiLean platform based on agreed client requirements.
• Plan and deliver engaging software demonstrations, training sessions and workshops.
• Facilitate client workshops both remotely and in person.
• Support project teams throughout onboarding, implementation and ongoing adoption.
• Build strong and long-term relationships with client stakeholders and project teams.
• Provide guidance and advice on how clients can get the most value from VisiLean.
• Help clients resolve implementation-related challenges and improve their ways of working.
• Monitor implementation progress and identify areas where additional support may be required.
• Prepare presentations, training materials, project updates and implementation documentation.
• Gather client feedback and work with our Product and Support teams to continuously improve the customer experience and our product.
• Travel to client offices and construction sites within Finland and elsewhere in Europe when required.

What we are looking for

Essential

• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or another construction-related discipline.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in construction, project management, consulting, software implementation or a similar client-facing role.
• Good understanding of construction projects and project management.
• Fluent Finnish and professional English.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Confidence presenting to groups and delivering training sessions and workshops.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with different stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently and directly with clients.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
• An interest in software, digital tools and the digitalisation of the construction industry.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Finland and, when required, elsewhere in Europe.

Preferred

• Swedish language skills.
• Experience with software or SaaS implementation.
• Experience delivering training, workshops or client presentations.
• Exposure to construction technology or digital construction platforms.
• Understanding of Lean Construction principles.
• Experience using planning, BIM or project management software.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with project data.

This retains the main competency areas from the original specification — construction/project-management knowledge, client-facing ability, communication and presentation skills, SaaS/implementation exposure and Lean Construction — while raising the expected level of experience.

The person we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is confident, curious and comfortable working with people. You should be able to quickly understand how a client and their projects operate, communicate clearly and make technology easy to understand.

You have enough professional experience to independently take responsibility for client projects and implementations, while remaining keen to learn and further develop your expertise in construction digitalisation and Lean Construction.

You do not need to already be an expert in VisiLean. More important to us is a strong construction foundation, the ability to work effectively with clients and a genuine interest in how technology can improve the way construction projects are managed.
