Implementation Engineer (AI for Real Estate)

5 days on-site, with UK travel | Up to £60k + equity

The company

A fast-growing, VC-backed AI startup building a platform of AI employees that run the property transaction end to end for estate agencies. They’re live with agencies across the UK, have early traction in the US, and are a team of around 15, split between engineering and commercial.

The role

Customer onboarding has become the biggest call on the engineering team’s time, so this is a newly created role to own it from start to finish. You’ll take every new agency from signed contract to launch day, be their first technical point of contact, and free up the product engineers to build.

This role is not about building the core product. It’s for someone who wants to be an implementation engineer: an engineer who enjoys integrations, solving problems for customers, and making a messy process run smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Own several customer rollouts at once, from contract through to go-live
• Build integrations with each agency’s CRM, telephony, lead sources and messaging tools, using APIs and webhooks
• Work with customers and vendors to get the access, data and information each launch needs
• Join onboarding sessions at agency branches alongside the training team, fixing issues on the spot
• Manage day-to-day customer support channels, fix problems at the root cause, and pass genuine product bugs to engineering with clear reproduction steps
• Turn repeat work into scripts, tools and documentation so each launch is faster than the last
• Bring what you learn in the field back to the engineering team as clear, actionable feedback

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Computer Science or a related subject (UK degree preferred) and solid engineering fundamentals
• 2+ years shipping production code
• Strong TypeScript and/or Python, and experience with APIs and webhooks
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
• Comfort in front of customers: approachable, clear, and able to explain a technical issue in plain English
• Organisation and ownership: you can run several things at once and flag risk early

Nice to have

• Experience as an implementation, solutions or forward-deployed engineer
• Early-stage startup experience
• Background in customer-facing or operational work

Logistics

• Five days a week in the office in Aldgate, London
• Travel to customer branches across the UK, roughly weekly or fortnightly, with all expenses covered
