Role summary

Azra AI builds azraONE, a clinical navigation platform that helps health systems identify, track, and navigate patients through oncology and other care pathways. The Implementation Lead owns client implementations from kickoff through go live and handoff to Customer Success, following Azra’s established implementation playbook.

You will coordinate clinical operations users, health system IT teams, and Azra’s internal teams across workstreams including VPN, SSO, and HL7 interfaces. This role suits someone early in their leadership career who wants to grow into senior implementation or program management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the project plan for each implementation: milestones, dependencies, risks, and open items, across several concurrent projects
• Host weekly syncs with client operations teams to drive workflow configuration, training readiness, and user acceptance testing
• Host weekly technical syncs with client IT covering VPN connectivity, SSO setup, and HL7 interface build and testing
• Run organized meetings with clear agendas, documented decisions, and follow up within one business day
• Partner with product, engineering, and Customer Success to sequence work, resolve issues, and escalate blockers early
• Communicate effectively at every level, from individual contributors to health system executives and Azra leadership
• Deliver concise status updates to the VP of Product and suggest improvements to the implementation playbook

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years implementing software products in healthcare (health IT vendor, health system, or consulting firm)
• Experience managing implementation project plans and leading recurring meetings with both operational users and IT teams
• Working knowledge of VPN, SSO, and HL7 interfaces
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of an organization
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and hold others accountable to an established process
• Understanding of HIPAA; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with clinical workflow, care navigation, or oncology software
• Familiarity with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), or MEDITECH and integration engines such as Cloverleaf or Rhapsody
• Experience with Jira or Smartsheet

What success looks like

• First 90 days: owns at least one active implementation, runs its weekly syncs, and delivers consistent status updates
• First year: leads multiple implementations to go live on time with clean handoffs to Customer Success
