Professional Services Consultant – Audit & Accounting Software

Are you an Audit or Accounting Professional looking to move into Technology Consulting?

We're working with a leading global provider of cloud-based audit, accounting and financial reporting software, used by hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide.

As part of their continued growth, they're looking for a Professional Services Consultant to help accounting and audit firms implement and get the most from their cloud-based technology solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in external audit or accounting who enjoys working with clients, solving problems and improving processes, or an experienced software implementation consultant with strong accounting industry knowledge.

The Role

Working within an established Professional Services team, you'll be responsible for delivering cloud software implementations, initially focusing on audit solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing software implementations from initial requirements through to go-live.
• Working closely with accounting and audit firms to understand their processes and business requirements.
• Configuring cloud-based audit and financial reporting solutions to meet client needs.
• Providing expert advice on audit workflows, best practices and process improvements.
• Delivering customer training and supporting successful software adoption.
• Managing client relationships, project timelines and implementation quality.
• Collaborating with internal Product, Engineering and Customer Support teams.
• Supporting junior consultants and contributing to continuous improvements in service delivery.

About You

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• 4+ years' experience in external audit, assurance or accounting , ideally within an accountancy practice.
• A good understanding of audit processes, financial reporting and accounting workflows.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• An interest in technology and how software can improve accounting and audit processes.
• Experience with software implementations, systems improvements, process transformation or user training.
• The ability to manage projects, solve problems and work independently.

Previous experience implementing accounting or audit software would be highly advantageous, although candidates looking to transition from professional practice into technology consulting are also encouraged to apply.
