Our client Hightech Solutions is hiring a Import & Export officer in Lahore.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the importation and exportation of goods and materials.

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.

• Develop and maintain relationships with customs brokers, logistics providers, and suppliers.

• Prepare and manage all necessary documentation related to imports and exports.

• Work with internal teams to align shipping activities with company objectives.

• Monitor shipping and delivery timelines, addressing any discrepancies.

• Negotiate freight contracts and ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Address any customs or shipment issues efficiently.

• Keep records of all transactions and prepare reports for management.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in import/export operations or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Certification in international trade or customs preferred.

• Proven track record of managing import/export activities effectively.

• Familiarity with customs processes in different countries.

• Ability to work on-site and manage flexible hours as required by shipping schedules.

• High degree of professionalism and integrity.

• Familiar with Incoterms and international shipping practices.
