Successful candidates will be assigned to a functional area based on their qualifications, experience, strengths, and the operational needs of the business.

This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the Assistant General Manager of Export Department of NAOC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support General Order (GO), hazardous cargo, load shifts, damaged containers, rail diversion alerts, ramp examinations, and other special import operations, including required 3PI invoices and Internal Job Orders (IJOs).
  • Monitor and maintain empty container and equipment reports, follow up on overdue equipment, and coordinate with Equipment Control, customers, Sales, and other stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Provide customer and operational support through portals, email, shared folders, and telephone, including tracking, tracing, pickup number releases, cargo availability, and delivery-related inquiries.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational and audit reports, investigate discrepancies, and provide findings and updates to management.
  • Ensure assigned activities are completed accurately and within required timelines, while following established procedures and meeting departmental KPIs, service standards, and operational requirements; identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and service.

Skills/Requirement

  • Post-secondary Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related fields preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the shipping, logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, terminal operations, or supply chain industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
