About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Sydney Import Sea freight Operations team.

The role will require the applicant to express their skills in direct customer contact, overseas agent communication and organisation.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, enjoys problem-solving and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Prepare and issue pre-alerts, arrival notices, outturn reports and EDOs
• Invoicing tasks including payment of shipping line invoices
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational processes including a willingness to learn our weekly P&L
• Coordinate under bond movements
• Review, monitor and follow up on import documentation
• Lodgement and monitoring of SCA

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Freight Forwarding and / or Cargo wise experience favoured. However, all training will be provided on the job.
