IMPORT CUSTOMER SERVICES

About the role

This role involves liaising, coordinating and following up with internal departments such as forwarding, haulage, transport and finance to ensure customers' expectations are met and all customers' requests are completed as agreed.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise, coordinate and follow up closely with all related internal departments such as forwarding, haulage, transport and finance to ensure customers' expectations are met and all customers' requests are completed as agreed
• Update customers on the daily schedule as arranged and keep customers updated on the progress of their both inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor and ensure agreed service levels are met and meet with customer to present KPI reports
• Resolve services issues by clarifying customers' complaints, determining the cause of the problem and provide the best solution to resolve the issues
• Keep customers updated should there be any delays or abnormalities to their shipments
• Keep track of all import license and permit required for importing, liaise with government authorities should any issues arise
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the management

About you

• Possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM or Diploma in related field
• Minimum 1 -2 year of working customer service/documentations/operations experience in forwarding/shipping environment
• Multitasking with communications and time management skills
• Reporting skills
• Computer literate
