Import Customs Officer

As a leading provider of Integrated Industrial Solutions in Indonesia (specializing in industrial tools, electrification, and EV tech), we are seeking a sharp Import Customs Officer to spearhead our daily customs clearance operations based out of our corporate office in the Business District, Central Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the end-to-end import customs clearance process from initial document preparation until final cargo release.
• Prepare, verify, and check import documentation, including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (B/L) / Air Waybills (AWB), and other permits.
• Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth clearance.
• Verify import data accuracy, including HS Codes, customs valuation, and applicable duties or taxes.
• Monitor shipment statuses daily and proactively resolve any missing documents or clearance issues.
• Maintain organized filing systems for all customs records and prepare regular import activity reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistics, International Business, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations, customs clearance, or a related role.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian import regulations, customs procedures, and clearance flows.
• Basic knowledge of HS Code classification, import duties, and local import taxes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
