Import Export Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Coordinator to manage all aspects of our import operations. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and compliant flow of goods into the company, maintaining accurate records, and supporting cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare DUAs (Customs Declarations) for all import and export transactions
• Review purchase order pricing prior to receipt in Rubicon system
• Coordinate all import-related procedures and documentation
• Verify product quantities upon arrival and ensure accurate system entry
• Distribute receipt reports and discrepancy reports across departments
• Prepare customs clearance documentation for maritime imports
• Maintain organized archives of all import records
• Monitor and manage consignment inventory levels
• Generate reports for direct shipments in transit
• Oversee freight invoice control and reconciliation
• Prepare annual import summary reports for fiscal review
• Update monthly import data in QOS system
• Ensure full compliance with ISO and SOX standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in import/export operations
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Rubicon preferred)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
