Import–Export Specialist

• Handle end-to-end import processes, particularly for food products and/or food ingredients.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers regarding orders, shipping schedules, and import documentation.
• Prepare and verify import documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and relevant certificates.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, PPJK, shipping lines, and customs to ensure smooth clearance and timely delivery.
• Manage import permits and food-related regulatory requirements, including BPOM and other applicable approvals.
• Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, import costs, and delivery progress.
• Ensure all import activities comply with Indonesian regulations.
• Resolve import documentation issues, shipment delays, and customs clearance problems independently.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure timely receipt of imported goods.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Import–Export, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG, food distribution, or food trading.
• Hands-on experience importing food products, food ingredients, or related materials into Indonesia.
• Good understanding of Indonesian import regulations, customs clearance, and import permits.
• Familiar with BPOM requirements and other applicable food import regulations.
• Able to manage the import process independently, from documentation and permits to customs clearance and delivery.
• Good coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English for communication with overseas suppliers.
