Import Export Specialist

Location: VSIP III Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province

Working time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Role Description: This role is responsible for overseeing and executing end-to-end Import/Export (Imp-Exp) operations, Customs Compliance, Customs Finalization Reporting (CFR/Liquidation) , and Logistics Operations .

1/ Customs Finalization Report (CFR) and Liquidation Management

• Duty-Free Materials: Manage and control all liquidation activities and Customs Finalization Reports (CFR) for raw materials imported duty-free under customs supervision.
• Data Reconciliation: Reconcile customs declaration data (ECUS software) with internal SAP systems (Warehouse & Accounting records) to guarantee compliance and accuracy.
• Scrap & Machine Liquidation: Establish processes to liquidate old machinery, scrap, and non-demand materials; verify HS Codes and applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

2/ Certificate of Origin (COO) & FTA Optimization

• COO Control: Oversee Country of Origin certification for Finished Goods (FGs).
• Duty Savings: Architect COO selection using advanced origin criteria ( RVC, CC, CTH, CTSH ) to maximize duty-saving opportunities under active FTAs.

3/ Import Export & Logistics Operations

• Documentation: Prepare, verify, and fulfill all import/export shipping documents in compliance with legal and internal quality standards.
• Shipment Planning: Plan inbound/outbound shipments, optimizing transportation modes and pallet utilization for smooth material flow.
• Issue Escalation: Resolve late deliveries, operational obstacles, or near-misses, escalating to key stakeholders when necessary.

4/ Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholders Relations

• Authority Engagement: Maintain daily communication with local authorities (Customs, Import-Export Management Department, VCCI) and customs brokers to ensure strict legal compliance.
• Legal Knowledge: Stay updated on government circulars, decrees, import/export procedures, and post-clearance inspection regulations.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with internal/external factories, overseas suppliers, and global shipping teams following global policies.

5/ System, EHS Compliance & Process Improvement

• System Management: Maintain shipping and customs data across SAP and ECUS (Electronic Customs Declaration software).
• EHS Compliance: Adhere to Group’s Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety policies.
• Process Improvement: Analyze operational issues, recommend innovative process updates, and support/backup fellow shipping team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management or Foreign Trade.
• Above 6 years’ experience in Shipping-Import/Export in Manufacturing company.
• Experienced in Customs Finalization Report / COO/ Scraps is a plus.
• Knowledge of Customs regulations for EPE Export Processing Enterprise business model
• Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analysis and synthesize recommendations.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure.
• Proven record in professional working style with demonstrated ability provide support effectively, also in a matrix environment – working with large cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
• Experienced in SAP system.
• MS Office (Power Point, Power Query and Excel, Power BI is a plus).
• Advanced English skills.
