What they need
- Manage end-to-end import operations across PAN India, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.
- Coordinate with seaports, Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, and shipping lines for smooth import clearance and logistics execution.
- Oversee and verify all import documentation including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other statutory documents.
- Handle freight documentation and ensure correct application of INCOTERMS and customs regulations.
- Plan and monitor container movements, ensuring efficient utilization and turnaround of containers.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers to optimize freight cost and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and other import regulations.
- Maintain strong coordination between internal departments such as Procurement, Accounts, and Operations
