About the role

This role involves managing import operations, including receiving pre-alerts from counterparts and forwarders, checking shipping documents and import commodities, and ensuring compliance with government regulatory requirements for import releasing.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive pre-alert from counterpart/forwarder
• Check shipping documents and import commodities
• Check and forward all documents to broker, including documents for pick-up arrangements
• Ensure compliance of all government regulatory requirements for import releasing
• Validate correct incoterms used in the shipment
• Provide correct BL Nature code and final destination to forwarder shipping line before vessel's arrival
• Check vessel's ETA
• Double check HS Code and computation of duties and taxes before sending to customer before SAD lodgment
• Coordinate with brokers, truckers, shipping lines, consolidators and warehouse
• Monitor delivery and arrival of cargo to clients

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Customs Admin or any related course
• At least 3 year experience handling import operations
• Keen on details; flexible and can communicate
• Organized and systematic
• Can start immediately

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
