Import Operations Executive - NVOCC

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import operations for NVOCC shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, consignees, freight forwarders, and transporters.
• Handle import shipment documentation and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate and verify HBL, MBL, Arrival Notice, Delivery Order (D/O), and related documents.
• Follow up with shipping lines and relevant parties for vessel arrival, manifest, container status, and release formalities.
• Handle D/O processing, container release, and delivery coordination.
• Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation, charges, and delivery requirements.
• Liaise with overseas agents for pre-alerts and complete shipment documentation.
• Monitor vessel arrivals, free time, detention/demurrage, and container movement.
• Coordinate with transporters for timely container pickup and delivery.
• Resolve operational issues, shipment discrepancies, and documentation-related matters.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Sales, Documentation, Accounts, and Customer Service teams.
• Maintain accurate records of import shipments and provide timely updates to customers and management.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in NVOCC Import Operations
• Strong hands-on experience with FCL import shipments
• Good knowledge of HBL, MBL, Arrival Notice, D/O, container release & import documentation
• Experience dealing with shipping lines and overseas agents
• Understanding of detention, demurrage, free time, and container movement
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English and MS Office
• Candidates currently working in NVOCC / Freight Forwarding / Shipping Lines will be preferred.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
