Import Sea/Air Operations - Senior

The Position

• Manage import cargo for sea and air freight from beginning to end
• Monitor and report cargo status from origin to delivery
• Resolve any potential service issues
• Liaise extensively with overseas and local offices, internal departments and carriers
• Receive shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
• Process import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
• Ensure efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery

The Requirements

• Proven import experience within a freight forwarder with exposure to  air and sea processes
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Well developed negotiation, customer service and problem solving skills
• Cargowise experience - 1- 2 years minimum preferred
