Importation Assistant

1. Will be part of a team of people who will be responsible for the movement of goods from another country ensuring transit and timely arrival of shipments to the Philippines

2. Will liaise regularly with foreign principals, forwarders, brokers, insurance agents and partners.

3. Will be responsible for all paper works needed to ensure shipments will be processed, cleared and release from the port.

4. Ensure compliance for all relevant Import tariff, Customs, Revenue and FDA requirements.

5. Will be responsible for Costing jobs, SAP entries, monitoring of trade payables.

6. Maybe assigned other tasks from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Background in Accounting and/or Customs Administration is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
