Import/Export Coordinator

About you

• Bachelor's/College Degree in BS Customs Administration or any equivalent course
• Adequate knowledge in processing in Import-Export forwarding and brokerage
• Preferably at least 1-2 years of work experience; experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry is an advantage
• Keen to details in preparation of documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Key responsibilities

• Handle manifest processing for Sea Freight – FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, as well as Air Freight shipments.
• Coordinates with brokers, consignees, and suppliers in a timely manner to resolve export/import issues
• Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure that shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly
• Validates documents from suppliers to ensure accuracy, including country of origin, tariff codes, and other relevant details.
• Coordinates and processes export/import documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and other required paperwork.
• Coordinating with the client's inquiry and monitoring of shipments until delivery.
• Monitor vessel and flight schedules, cargo arrival, container status, shipment deadlines, and delivery arrangements.
• Follow up with shipping lines, airlines, terminals, and other service providers regarding cargo release, manifest submission, documentation, and shipment concerns.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, manifest errors, and other operational concerns.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
