Import/Export Officer (Contract)

Import & Export Officer (Air & Ocean)

We are seeking an Import & Export Officer to manage air and ocean shipments and ensure smooth coordination with overseas teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with overseas teams to arrange cargo pick-up from origin.
• Monitor MAWB/HAWB and all related documents from CEVA’s network and sales team.
• Update customers on shipment status and confirm delivery schedules.
• Notify customers of any cargo damage.
• Create and manage job files in CargoWise system.
• Prepare documents for import/export customs clearance and hand over to shipping staff.
• Arrange trucking for timely cargo pick-up and delivery.
• Collect shipping documents and expense receipts to issue billing invoices.
• Follow up with shipping staff to ensure goods are released and delivered on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Corporate Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in a shipping line or international multimodal transportation company.
• Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices, from basic to advanced.
• Analytical skills with a strong service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while contributing effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
