Job Title: IMS Deployment Lead & Engineer
Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon

Role Summary

The IMS Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, testing, and integration of IMS network functions in an OpenStack Cloud/Network Function Virtualization (NFV) environment. This is a hands-on technical role involving deployment, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and integration activities.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of telecom protocols and technologies such as SIP, SDP, H.248, MGCP, and DIAMETER, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and plan the deployment of NFV-based IMS solutions.

• Implement IMS solutions and integrate them with other network elements.

• Analyze and troubleshoot IMS call flow scenarios.

• Execute scripts and commands to deploy, test, and troubleshoot virtualized IMS network functions.

• Collaborate closely with onsite, offshore, and customer teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Create and maintain project documentation, including:

• Method of Procedures (MOPs)

• Acceptance Test Documents

• High-Level Designs (HLDs)

• Low-Level Designs (LLDs)

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in telecom/IMS deployment and integration.

• Strong expertise in IMS core entities, SIP call processing, and SIP supplementary services.

• Hands-on experience in deploying IMS networks in cloud environments.

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills during IMS deployments.

• Experience with TLS, TCP/IP, IPSEC, and IP protocols.

• Good knowledge of:

• Session Border Controllers (SBCs)

• NAT

• Firewalls

• Authentication & Encryption

• Routers and Switches

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
