What they need

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage UAM deployment delivery for individual Transcend SAP S/4HANA releases in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring execution of the global UAM deployment strategy in line with deployment milestones, quality expectations, and program governance requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 3-5 Security Analysts, setting priorities, providing guidance, supporting performance and development discussions, and aligning team activities with J&J and UAM talent development expectations.
  • Own UAM deployment readiness across all deployment phases, ensuring persona design, testing, cutover/provisioning, and hypercare activities are planned, resourced, monitored, and completed in line with release milestones and entry/exit criteria.
  • Drive planning, prioritization, and execution control across UAM deployment activities, including progress tracking, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and integration with broader program plans.
  • Oversee role design quality and compliance health checks before build, before cutover, and after go-live to confirm alignment with authorization principles, SoD controls, and applicable compliance expectations.
  • Manage cutover planning for access deployment activities, including role transport sequencing, user provisioning readiness, emergency access planning, business validation steps, issue escalation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage hypercare support and transition to steady state, ensuring access issues are prioritized, root causes are understood, remediation actions are tracked, and ownership is clearly handed over to operational teams.
  • Provide oversight of SoD risks, sensitive access, and mitigation actions during deployment, ensuring risks are visible, appropriately escalated, and managed to support compliant access enablement in regulated environments.
  • Establish, monitor, and communicate UAM deployment KPIs and management reporting, including defect volumes, role readiness, cutover completion, provisioning accuracy, open risks, and hypercare stabilization trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the UAM deployment framework by applying lessons learned from releases to strengthen methodology, controls, templates, deployment efficiency, taxonomy, governance, and the operating model.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or university-level qualification in a relevant field, such as Finance, Supply Chain, IT, or Engineering.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in international companies, including at least 5 years of people management or team leadership experience.

  • Expertise in business role design and SAP security concepts.

  • Proven experience managing ERP deployment programs and project delivery in complex, cross-functional environments.

  • Strong understanding of complex system landscapes and global template design.

  • Specialist knowledge of SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts and familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOX, GxP, IT, and Privacy.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent oral and written English skills.

  • Experience influencing and collaborating across large business, IT, security, and compliance organizations.

  • Collaborative, value-based, and outcome-oriented leadership style with the ability to manage teams, develop talent, and drive accountability.

  • Experience establishing or operating UAM governance frameworks, including standards, policies, decision forums, and performance metrics to track progress and accountability.

  • Experience managing compliance requirements, change impacts, and stakeholder expectations during technology or process transformation programs.
