In-Home Care - Weekdays- PT/Flex Schedule

Overview

Busy family is looking for a reliable respite provider with medical/autism experience to care for their son in his Neenah home a couple days a week.

Hours- 2-3 days a week from 10am to 230pm, mat change late fall

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and supervision.

• Maintain self-regulation and redirection as needed if behaviors are present.

-Experience with seizures and administering medication (if needed), training will be provided.

-Patience and understanding with communication done with AAC Device.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are mandatory.

• Candidates must be able to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check.

• A genuine enjoyment of working in the special needs community.

• Previous professional experience in caregiving is required, with a preference for those with backgrounds in ABA therapies, paraprofessional roles, educational support, behavioral techs, childcare, and similar fields

• Personal care assistance (Toileting, changing as needed).

Pay: $17.97 per hour

Work Location: In person
