In Home Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Provide patient observation and monitor for any changes in health or behavior, especially for clients with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders.
Help with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety.
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and engagement.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Support clients during outings or appointments by providing personal transportation assistance.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Personal reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and driver's license required
Live in and willing to travel within 30 miles of their home in Madison County, IL
Ability to use basic technology (Cell phone apps) to be able to provide reports through our electronic system
