ALPHA Tyres and Mechanical and Auto Cartel are part of a fast-growing, vertically integrated automotive group based in Echuca, Victoria. ALPHA is a leading retail and mobile tyre and mechanical business with 1,000+ five-star Google reviews. Auto Cartel is a membership-based coaching and mentorship community supporting 100+ independent workshop owners across Australia. Together with our wholesale and SaaS arms, we're building one of the most connected automotive businesses in the country — and we need a creative leader to help tell that story.

About the Role

We're looking for an In-House Creative Director to own content creation across the group, reporting directly to the Founder/CEO. This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who can film, edit and create — and just as importantly, lead creative strategy as the role grows. You'll produce content for ALPHA Tyres and Auto Cartel, and support our 100+ Auto Cartel members with their own content, including on-location shoots at their businesses.

This role requires 2-3 days per week on-site in Echuca for filming and production, with flexibility to be based elsewhere (e.g. Melbourne) for the remainder of the week. National and international travel is required for vlog-style content and client shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok for ALPHA Tyres and Auto Cartel
• Create static content and landing pages using AI tools (e.g. Manus, Higgsfield, Claude)
• Support Auto Cartel's 100+ members with content creation, including on-location shoots at client workshops
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team on campaign and content strategy
• Lead creative direction and content scheduling as the role matures
• Travel nationally and internationally for vlog-style and client content

About You

• Proven background in filming, editing and content creation across multiple formats and platforms
• Strong working knowledge of YouTube, Instagram and TikTok — what performs and why
• Comfortable learning and applying new AI content tools
• A self-starter who can take a brief and run with it, not just execute instructions
• Open to travel, including occasional international trips
• Portfolio matters more than years of experience — we want to see your work
