IN PROCESS CHECKER

The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals.

The main purpose of the In Process Checker is to ensure quality standards of filled products through in process checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform volume checks, seal checks, particulate contaminants checks during the filling process and alert the filling operator timeously if any anomalies are observed
• Perform leak testing during batch filling
• Responsible for batch sampling as per SOP and batch book requirements and submission of samples to QC laboratories
• Sampling of batch filling retention samples
• Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness in the department and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping
• Log books an batch documentation completion
• Train identified personnel on all related items relevant to operation and maintenance of the equipment.
• Operate autoclaves when required.
• Ensure daily target is met
• Comply with all GMP & GRK practices.
• From time to time, carry out other jobs within the factory /department, consistent with the grade qualification and training of the incumbent.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 12
• Good eyesight is a pre-requisite. Pass the medical eye test and the Standard Inspection qualification test with 80%
• A certain technical aptitude would be preferable
