The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and ownership of end-to-end supply chain processes across domestic and international operations.

The ISA will work closely with the In-Stock Manager (ISM), vendors, freight forwarders, customs partners, and internal stakeholders to improve inventory health, reduce lead times, optimize inbound flows, and enhance vendor experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & In-Stock Operations

    • Drive inventory-led operations including inbound execution, appointment planning, prioritization, and returns management.
    • Monitor and improve key operational metrics related to inventory availability, inbound utilization, and vendor performance.
    • Coordinate with fulfillment centers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and category health.
    • Support Return-to-Vendor (RTV) operations and reduce unhealthy and unsellable inventory.
    • Provide visibility to category teams and leadership on inventory health, fill rates, and operational performance metrics.

Import & Export Operations

    • Manage end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring timely movement of goods across international and domestic supply chains.
    • Coordinate with domestic and international vendors to ensure timely material dispatch and minimize lead times.
    • Work closely with Freight Forwarders (FFs), Customs House Agents (CHAs), shipping lines, and logistics partners to ensure seamless shipment execution.
    • Negotiate and collaborate with freight forwarders to secure timely release of Shipping Orders (SO) at origin and reduce overall transit lead times.
    • Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays, compliance issues, and operational bottlenecks.
    • Own and maintain shipment trackers, providing daily updates and visibility to management on shipment status and risks.
    • Prepare and maintain import/export cost trackers, ensuring accurate reporting of freight, duty, clearance, and logistics costs.
    • Ensure adherence to local and international trade regulations and customs compliance requirements.

Analytics & Process Excellence

    • Drive Excel-based analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Build scalable operational processes and dashboards to improve efficiency and stakeholder visibility.
    • Analyze inventory, logistics, and vendor performance data to support business decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.

Desired Qualifications

    • Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, Supply Chain, Import-Export Operations, or Inventory Management.
    • Strong understanding of inventory operations, inbound logistics, and vendor management.
    • Experience working with Freight Forwarders (FFs), Customs House Agents (CHAs), and international logistics partners.
    • Good understanding of import-export documentation, customs procedures, and international trade regulations.
    • Exposure to global shipment compliance requirements across regions such as China, USA, KSA, UAE, and other international markets.
    • Ability to understand and evaluate product-level compliance requirements for new product categories.

Required Skills

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
    • Experience in shipment tracking, vendor coordination, and operational reporting.
