In-store Sampling Demonstrators

We are on the hunt for out-going, hard-working staff to join our in-store sampling team.

Pay rate: $27.50/hr

Key responsibilities include:

• Educating consumers on the product you are demonstrating
• Reaching sales targets
• Working alone in either a supermarket or a liquor store for a 3.5hr shift
• Taking photos and reporting back about your shift

Requirements:

• A passion for sales is a high advantage
• Confident, this role involves pro-actively approaching strangers, therefore you can’t be shy!
• Able to self-motivate and be trustworthy as there will be times when you are working alone
• Must have a strong command of the English language, and you must be able to fluently convey key messages to customers
• Impeccable personal hygiene and well-groomed at all times – facial hair is fine, provided that it is tidy
• For supermarket sampling you must complete a test to gain a Safe in Store Pass. We will cover the cost of this if you commit to 6+ shifts
• YOU MUST HAVE A CAR TO TRANSPORT SAMPLING EQUIPMENT. Please do not apply if you do not have access to a car

Days / Hours:

We have shifts available each day of the week - ideally you will be available for all shifts in a week that are assigned to a particular kit.

Day to Day of the job:

• Collect your sampling equipment prior to your shift from central storage unit
• Travel to your given location and check in with the store manager
• Set up in-store, hand out samples to customers, positively promote the product to customers, gain feedback, take photos
• Post shift – return gear
• Report back – including photos via our online reporting system

Please note: For this job, you will be employed as an independent contractor. Due to these requirements, students on student visas will be ineligible for this role
