Duties

• Sort incoming merchandise by category, size, or priority to streamline store operations
• Package products securely for storage, shipment, or display using appropriate techniques and tools
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sorting and packaging areas to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and arranging displays to enhance product visibility
• Operate equipment like forklifts (if certified) to move heavy or bulky items safely within the store
• Support cashiering duties when needed, including processing transactions accurately and providing friendly customer service
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment to uphold store standards

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in sorting and packaging processes
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers when necessary
• Experience in retail sales or customer service environments is a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in busy work areas
• Flexible team player with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
