Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and kitchen areas.
• Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling.
• Upsell products by highlighting special promotions and new arrivals to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries about products and services.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or restaurant environment is preferred, showcasing your understanding of customer service dynamics.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential for maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience will be advantageous in food preparation tasks.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers positively and effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
