Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their shopping experience
• Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards
• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
• Manage cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities and promote specials
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving, cashiering, and food prep tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
• Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and advanced cash handling
