In-Store Trainer

About the role

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will spend most of your time in stores, training and coaching store staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and service standards — and making sure that training turns into real performance on the sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, in-store training and coaching at assigned Boots stores, covering product knowledge, selling skills, and service standards.

• Follow up after training session to ensure skills are applied on the sales floor — train, verify, and coach again where needed.

• Deliver accelerated training for new sales advisors and coach them to full productivity within the shortest possible time, ensuring one consistent capability standard across stores.

• Assess and validate staff capability through post-tests and practical evaluation.

• Conduct training quality assurance during store visits, with corrective coaching and re-training, including for new product launches.

• Drive store-level capability projects and support product launches at the store front.

• Summarize and analyze findings from the field, report training outcomes, and share insights with the Learning & Development team to shape future training content.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience in retail store operations, or strong knowledge of skincare and vitamin products.

• Ability to train, teach, and coach; candidates without formal training experience must be able to demonstrate the ability to teach and coach people effectively.

• Able to work independently in the field (self-managed, regular store visits) while remaining a strong team player.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to identify capability gaps and recommend practical actions.

• Comfortable traveling between stores on a daily basis.
