Inbound Call Center Representative Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
• Identify the reason for each customer inquiry
• Listen carefully and ask relevant questions
• Explain products, services and campaign offers accuratelymake
• Recommend an appropriate next step based on customer needs
• Resolve routine questions during the initial call
• Escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team member
• Record call notes and outcomes in the CRM system
• Update customer contact details accurately
• Support customer acquisition and sales conversion goals
• Follow approved scripts and call handling procedures
• Meet call quality and customer service standards
• Protect confidential customer and company information

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Confidence communicating with customers by phone
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to learn product information quickly
• Practical problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication would be an advantage
