Inbound Call Center Representative

Inbound Call Center Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and provide friendly, professional support
• Listen to customer questions and understand their needs
• Provide accurate information about products, services, orders or accounts
• Help resolve routine customer concerns and service issues
• Research questions and find appropriate solutions
• Enter and update customer information accurately in company systems
• Document calls, requests and resolutions
• Follow up on open issues when needed
• Transfer or escalate complex concerns to the appropriate department
• Work with internal teams to help resolve customer issues
• Follow company policies, procedures and customer service standards

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, patient and professional approach
• Good listening and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable speaking with customers by phone
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Able to learn new software and customer service systems
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Able to handle multiple customer requests in an organised manner
• Previous call center, customer service, retail or support experience is helpful
• Entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply
