Inbound Documentation Staff

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end import shipments, including customer notifications for document amendments and container clearance status updates.
• Submit import customs manifests, paperless declarations (NSW), EDI data, and maintain vessel voyage information in full compliance with customs regulations.
• Create Delivery Orders (D/O), process freight charges, and update daily exchange rates within required timeframes.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and application service providers to support system enhancements and ensure seamless integration with Customs and Port systems.
• Verify new Credit Registration (CR) applications and assist customers with Electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) onboarding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field (New Graduates are welcome).
• 0–3 years of experience in the shipping industry, sea transportation, or import/export operations.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency in computer systems, shipping tools, applications, or e-commerce platforms.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
