Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics professional to manage and oversee end-to-end logistics and transportation operations. The role will be responsible for fleet management, route planning, transporter coordination, compliance, team management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end logistics and transportation operations.
• Manage fleet operations, route optimization, and transporter coordination.
• Ensure timely movement and delivery of goods while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Monitor logistics KPIs related to delivery timelines, transportation costs, and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters, vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational targets.
• Maintain and analyze logistics-related MIS and reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
• Hands-on experience in fleet and transportation management.
• Strong vendor/transporter management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of logistics compliance and safety requirements.
• Strong team handling, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze logistics data and drive process improvements.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a relevant field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation operations.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/dairy or a similar industry will be preferred.
