Are you passionate about ensuring every learner has the support and opportunity they need to succeed?
We’re looking for two experienced Inclusion Leads to lead and develop inclusive practice across The Colleges’ Partnership, with a particular focus on learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), additional learning needs, and those who may be disadvantaged or vulnerable.
This is a specialist role combining direct learner support with organisation-wide influence. You’ll oversee the identification and monitoring of learners requiring additional support, develop targeted interventions, and work with delivery teams to embed inclusive practice throughout the learner journey. You’ll also act as our specialist lead for SpLD, providing advice, training, and practical support to colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the implementation and development of our Inclusion Strategy
Acting as the organisation’s specialist lead for SpLD
Overseeing the identification, monitoring, and support of learners with additional needs or other disadvantages
Conducting SpLD screening and assessments within professional competence
Developing learner support plans and advising on reasonable adjustments
Monitoring achievement gaps and implementing targeted interventions to improve learner outcomes
Training and coaching delivery staff in inclusive teaching, SpLD, reasonable adjustments, and early identification of support needs
Analysing learner data to identify trends, risks, and the impact of support
Working with curriculum teams, employers, awarding organisations, and external agencies to coordinate effective support
Contributing to quality improvement, self-assessment, and external assurance activity
What you’ll bring:
A Level 5 qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
A teaching, training, or assessor qualification
Experience supporting learners with SpLD and additional learning needs
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, the Equality Act 2010, and reasonable adjustments
Experience managing learner support caseloads and implementing targeted interventions
Confidence delivering staff training, coaching, and CPD
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Experience within apprenticeships, FE, or work-based learning would be an advantage
What we offer:
Salary of £36,916
Remote working (with travel to sites as required)
25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + discretionary Christmas closedown (approx. 40 days per year total)
Enhanced sick pay
Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
Paid compassionate leave
Perkbox membership
This is an opportunity to shape inclusive practice across our provision and make a measurable difference to learners who may otherwise face barriers to achievement.
The Colleges’ Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and safer recruitment practices.
