Incoming Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Initiate formal claims (Quality Notifications) for non-conforming parts identified during incoming inspection or on the production line.
2. Collect and organize physical samples, photos, and test reports to support claim validity against supplier disputes.
3. Maintain a comprehensive claim database to monitor the status of credits, replacements, and supplier acknowledgments.
4. Coordinate immediate sorting or rework activities to prevent production downtime while ensuring defective parts are quarantined.
5. Review supplier Root Cause Analysis to ensure they address the technical failure and the system-wide escape point.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related fields).
• Experience 3–5 years in Incoming Quality (IQC) or Supplier Quality (SQE) within the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of 8D Problem Solving methodology.
• Excellent command of English (Professional level) for international supplier negotiations. (Chinese/Thai skills are a significant advantage for reporting).
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially regarding production "Line Stop" situations.
