Grow strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and translating them into tailored product solutions
Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable delivery
Prepare accurate, timely quotes that balance client requirements, budgets, and margin expectations
Interpret design briefs and marketing objectives to recommend creative, on-brand promotional products
Maintain accurate sales, client, and supplier records across CRM and internal systems
Collaborate closely with design, logistics, product, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Represent TRENDS at industry events, building networks that grow the client base
Manage multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of service
What you will bring to the table:
Essential requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, quoting tools, and supplier databases; experience with CRM or procurement platforms is advantageous.
Demonstrated success in managing vendor relationships and delivering accurate quotations under tight deadlines.
Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
Experience working cross-functionally with sales and design teams to meet client-specific project goals.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Desirable requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in promotional products, merchandising, or a related industry.
- Additional certifications in sales, procurement, merchandising, or international trade (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
- Experience in sourcing, quoting, or procurement.
- Familiarity with international sourcing, customs considerations, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with industry trends, competitor pricing, and market demands
