This is a unique opportunity to chair the Board of a successful and values-driven technology company at an important stage in its evolution.

Working closely with the Board and Managing Director, the Chair will provide governance leadership, strategic oversight and constructive challenge. The role will help guide Catalyst's long-term direction, support innovation and growth, and ensure the company remains true to its commitment to openness, collaboration, public good and trustworthy digital solutions.

The Chair will foster a high-performing Board culture, support robust decision-making, oversee risk and organisational performance, and help position Catalyst to respond to emerging opportunities.

We are seeking an experienced Chair or Director who brings:

• Proven governance leadership and boardroom facilitation experience.
• Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience guiding companies through growth, transformation or innovation.
• Sound understanding of governance, risk and organisational performance.
• The ability to provide independent perspective and constructive challenge.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• High levels of integrity, judgement and credibility.
• Comfortable within a founder-led environment.

While deep technology expertise is not essential, an interest in technology, digital transformation, AI, cybersecurity and the opportunities that open-source technology promotes will be important.
