Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and reliable Independent Contractor Drivers specializing in Cargo and Sprinter Van deliveries Only! Responsibilities

• Safely operate your personal vehicle or Sprinter Van to complete scheduled deliveries across designated routes
• Load, unload, and manually handle cargo using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary
• Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and in accordance with customer expectations
• Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols during all driving activities
• Communicate effectively using mobile devices to confirm delivery details, report issues, or update route information
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and vehicle reliability
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism, addressing inquiries politely, and ensuring positive delivery experiences

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services preferred, especially with box trucks or vans
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous for efficient loading/unloading processes
• Hands-on experience with manual transmission vehicles or commercial truck driving is a plus
• Knowledge of material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or manual handling tools is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to lift heavy items safely while following safe lifting practices
• Proven track record of adhering to traffic regulations and DOT guidelines during commercial driving tasks
• Strong organizational skills for route planning, load management, and time management in a fast-paced environment
