Duties

• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including passenger vans, limousines, shuttle buses, and personal delivery vans across designated local routes
• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety standards during every trip
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm pick-up and drop-off details while providing excellent customer service
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation and safety
• Handle heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage with proper manual handling techniques
• Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to real-time traffic conditions for timely deliveries or pickups
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and client interactions for reporting purposes

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver with a strong understanding of local driving routes
• Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or shuttle buses; commercial driving experience preferred
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning software to optimize travel efficiency
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety protocols applicable to passenger and commercial vehicles
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients professionally and courteously
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during cargo handling or luggage management
• Strong attention to detail in vehicle maintenance checks and trip documentation
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle diverse client needs in a professional manner
